News from the 'Dog House'
|
Well, we have finally found new kennels and moved the dogs in safely.
We have been so luck to be welcomed into the kennels by Diane and
John who have a gorgeous new kennel complex. Each dog has
underfloor heating and a separate sleeping area that the dogs can
retreat to. It is set in acres of beautiful countryside and the dogs
can be walked in the HUGE fields surrounding the kennels plus they
have an enclosed area to run around in too!
When they we introduced to their pens they all had a good sniff
and explored their new beds. Daisy was so funny when she
spotted that she had a second room all to herself with a bed
around the corner out of sight from everyone! She looked
stunned and wagged her tail in excitement!
Jeffery, was the only one to mess his kennel up straight away by
sticking his paws in his water bowl (which, incidentally, is in a
stand off the floor!) and knocked it onto the floor! He is such a
character and full of fun!
Flash found the underfloor heating straight away and lay down ready for a kip and Sam just wanted lots of cuddles
and attention.
It was a great day and we will keep you all regularly informed of what is happening in the 'dog house'.
Thanks to all the people who helped with the move as it isn't a
straight forward job transporting all those hounds!!, Tipper
immediately started rummaging in Pat's lunch bag, whilst
Percy just lay down and snoozed and Dusty just wanted to play!!
When we arrived at the new kennels we all went for a walk
in the field which is part of the kennels!
It was lovely just to out with them and the dogs were so happy!
