Welcome to the website of the North West Retired Greyhound Trust. We re home throughout
the whole North West area such as North Wales, Chester, Crewe, Wirral, Merseyside,
Manchester, Cheshire and surrounds. Our aim is to successfully re home as many retired racing
greyhounds as possible and to raise people's awareness of this very gentle and loving breed.
The branch began re homing dogs on 21st January 2008 and still going strong!! All the members
of the branch are volunteers and have worked with a number of greyhound charities in the past
and have been very active in the re-homing and welfare of these wonderful animals. We decided
to put all of our experience together to form the North West Retired Greyhound Trust
(NWRGT)
If you are wanting to re-home a greyhound or just thinking about it contact us and we will be
happy to help in any way.
You need to fill in a pre-homecheck questionnaire before you can have a dog which you can find
here. Just click the submit button when you have finished and we'll be in touch.
If you would prefer to give us your details over the phone instead, just ring on

Information on diet, exercise, temperament and other important aspects of their care can be
